That's OK. I soon got to use it for a little doll who didn't mind her picture taken at all! Kendal turned the big O-N-E on January 6th and we attended the festivities in her honor on the 8th. It was a party fit for a princess!!
Can I tell you how hilarious this was? This is Grayson, the son of Wendy's best friend, Capree. He may be an older man, by 4 years, but he is HER man. You can't tell in the picture (my bad!), but she wrapped her legs around him and would not let Wendy pull her off of him. She wanted him to hold her!
Check out the compromise - sitting on the couch by him. Notice the possessive hand on him. When he tried to get away, she grabbed him and hung on for dear life! It is so nice Grayson indulges her.
When Grayson finally did leave her, she went back to the other man in her life - her Grandpa Kellar. She LOVES him!
Didn't get many good pictures of her opening gifts - heads in the way and too much action. One of the funniest moments was after she opened her present of books, given by none other than Grayson, that's all she wanted. She backed up to Kailee, sat down and wanted her to read to her! Kendal did this many times - not just once. And she wouldn't let go of the book. Great-grandpa Ken tried to have her give him the book and she grabbed it back and gave him a very stern look!
We finally got to the cake! It was her first full-on sugar rush and she seemed to enjoy it very much!
She got a little thirsty from downing all that icing, but she went back at it!
Happy, happy birthday Kendal!! You are precious!
