Oh....ok....just a few more pictures from Idaho.


How about the zoo?


We had a great time playing on the statues and play equipment.









































Lexi is almost as tall as a big horn sheep!














Ok, this wasn't fun - but I had to put it in somewhere. And look - there are animals on the blanket! Lexi went to the dentist! She did not like the dentist doing his job - he was OK, just not when he was doing things to her mouth. In fact, she really didn't let him do anything.











Pretending is fun - like pretending to be a turtle.

















But this is my favorite - they were eggs in the nest and then the eggs hatched.


































OK - I'm done. Really. Turn the lighters off, there is not going to be a second encore.

Logan again took over my camera and I had some interesting shots. Here's one of my favorite!

We had the usual craft days - painting wooden figures and pinecones. (We'll paint anything that stands still long enough for us to get a paint brush on it!)

Games such as Hi-Ho Cherri-O, Operation, Sequence and Dominoes were played. And, yes, we still play "Logan Rules" in most games. I will say that he beat me fair and square in Uno!

We went to Rafiki one day to play. It's a big area full of toys, climbing equiment, slides, air hockey, crafting table, etc. --- they even have a Wii there! There is a little deli there that caters to the young and old a alike - pannini sandwiches or salads for the adults, grilled cheese or PB&J for the kids! For snacks you can get cups of jello or yogurt. I know this because we were there long enough for lunch AND for a snack. (Lexi's nap was compromised that day!) Here's what Logan and Lexi started playing with:

There is a play store/house area.

They have huge wooden blocks.

And they have dress up!!

The Hulk is going to destroy the village!!!! Oh Noooooooo.......

And one of our final outtings was to Monkey Bizness where Lexi went down the big slide for the first time. It took some coaxing and some instruction from helpful strangers - one sweet little girl tried to show Lexi how to go down the slide on her stomach. Finally, safe in her brother's lap, she made the move!

And then we couldn't stop her from going down the slide!

And the last thing we did before we left was rock climbing! OK - Lexi and I didn't, but Logan sure did!

And so ends the pictorial of our fun time in Idaho...a moment of silence, please.....

Still Havin' Fun!

This time it's FISHING FUN!

We took a couple of fishing jaunts while in Idaho. The first trip was to Lucky Peak. This is my kind of fishing spot. Plenty of green and lots of shade to put your camp chair in while watching the family fish! The shade was a detriment to the photo shoot, but that's the price I pay for my comfort.

On our other fishing outting, we headed up to Cascade. It was a pretty long trip but the scenery was worth it. I'm so sorry I did not get a picture of the river and the rapids we drove parallel to for a great portion of the trip. It was beautiful. Guess I was "in the moment" and not thinking about ya'll - sorry.

More Fun...

Ice cream cones! Aren't they always fun?

Beating up Ronald McDonald. I didn't ask why - they just wanted me to take a picture of them going after poor ol' Ronnie!

Lexi wanted her picture taken with her Care Bears - and yes, I have half a dozen pictures with different Care Bears!

Logan wanted to go for a walk and use my camera. He wanted to take pictures of plants and flowers. This is just a sampling of our trip around the neighborhood - I think I have 2 dozen pictures! Wonder what the homeowners thought as they saw a kid taking pictures of their yard!

I've been waiting for Jamie to post - time's up! This is how Lexi started her 4th of July evening, all cute and happy!

It quickly went to cute and scared!

Logan, on the other hand, has the pyromaniac blood coursing through his veins!

In the video, you will notice he is holding a sparkler while watching a fountain!

The fireworks were great - as always.

Jon and Jamie's friend, Steve, always has a great finale for the evening. It didn't disappoint!
