Terry, Dave and I had an excursion to the University of Phoenix stadium early in the month to wander through the Sportmen's Expo. We took in an elk hunting workshop and wandered through the various vendors, watched a little fishing demo and I made some friends while waiting at the concession area for them to go through the other half of the exhibits! Recommendation: If they don't come up with something more than they had this year, don't bother unless you can get in for free!
We celebrated Stuart's birthday early in the month while Heather and Karen were here. We made the trek up north and had a little bbq. Sorry about no pictures of the birthday boy - but isn't Jack cute!?!
On Teresa and Stuart's anniversary, Jack spent some time with us while Mom and Dad went out. Sorry about no picture of the couple celebrating - but isn't Jack cute?
Kailee and Caitlin came over and spent the day, so we colored eggs. Cailtin is so pretty - and yet she doesn't like to have her picture taken. I was lucky to get a few without her getting grumpy about it! Kailee is showing off her braces for all to see! Her smile was pretty before, can't imagine the braces will make it better!
And then we had Grandmother's Easter Egg Hunt. Yes, it's true that as of now it's the last hunt at her house. It's an awful lot of work putting the event together. (If anyone wants to take the responsiblity of buying the stuff, stuffing the eggs, coloring the eggs, gathering up and setting up tables and chairs, hiding well over 100 eggs and then cleaning up and taking down the tables and chairs, it could probably be done again!) All I know is that at the age of 80, I think she's deserves to retire as the family Easter Bunny!
So, March is almost done and April is fast approaching. Another exciting month ahead for the Lambson family - stay tuned!
