If It's Spring...

then there must be a dance recital goin' on!!

Kailee and Caitlin had their dance/cheer perfomance on Saturday. Caitlin looked so cute in her cheer outfit and Kailee looked TOO grown up!!

Here's a couple of short videos. I'm not ready for my debut as cinematographer - I'm more interested in watching the performance myself. I just held the camera and let them dance in and out of the picture!! Caitlin is the cutie with the ponytail and the darling glasses! Kailee is the tall, short-cut, dark-haired dancer with just the right amount of attitude!

BREMEN'S PARTY!

Bremen has been a party animal this weekend! His birthday is next week and he'll be busy on his big day - riding rides and walking the streets of Disneyland! - so he started celebrating yesterday with a family dinner and today with some kids and swimming. As usual, Kevin and Marcy put on a feast - hamburgers, brats, Philly cheese-steak, potato salad, corn, slaw, and our contribution to the Batman-themed party - Batwings! OK, they were chicken wings, but we pretended. Here are some fun pics of the evening! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, but let me point out a few things - one, Kevin does eat - there is proof; two, Bremen was NOT tackling Ryan, but giving him a hug for getting him what he wanted - the Shark slip'n'slide; three, Jack loved the sand more than the water and four, Ryan has a future as a replacement for Gene Simmons in KISS!!

MEETING HUNTER!

We got back from a too-short visit to meet our newest grandbaby - Hunter David Lambson! He is adorable and easy to fall in love with!!

While we were visiting Hunter, we got to see his Lehi cousins - Katelyn, Morgan and Kyle. We always have a great time visting with them - they are very sweet kids!

HUNTER IS WONDERFUL - PART I

Hunter is a good, sweet, alert, healthy, happy, strong, beautiful baby boy who has parents who love him!! (If you're wondering about no pics with Daddy - he had a cold and was being safe - Lysol was sprayed freely!)

And, just in case you think I'm all show and no go - here's proof our baby boy is smart and strong. Just look at him during his tummy time!! Yay for Hunter!!

We had the best time meeting our new grandson - he is adorable and I can't wait to see him next month!!

Party at the Crib

Hunter's crib, that is!! Headin' to my home-boy's crib tomorrow to kick it for a while. Here's my boy waitin' for the Grammie to come:

Oops - I Forgot!

Seems as though I forgot to post some of the highlights of the last week or so. First, Dave's still been going missing a lot - but at least I know where he is! Here's the work table that was created:

I'd get better pictures - but I don't want to upstage the cool, new website that they'll be developing to sell their creative products!

A few girls went up to the "lodge" for a mini women's conference last week. We were put up in beautiful accommodations and the food provided was fabulous! We even had our own chef/man servant for the event - a girl could get used to such treatment! (We helped with breakfast, but he grilled steaks to perfection for the previous evening's dinner!)

Karen HAD to know this would show up - so I don't apologize for posting it!

We had fun, although I think Cathi got overwhelmed with all the American Idol discussion - and viewing - we watched quite a few past performances!

We watched some very good talks, but my favorite was "True Doctrine, Understood, Changes Attitudes and Behaviors," by Todd Parker. It was a BYU Education Week talk from 1999. Look it up on byubroadcasting.org - you won't be sorry!

So, it was a nice week for both of us - the knife maker was productive and I got some girl-time in the wilderness (OK, Vernon isn't quite the wilderness, but it isn't the city!). All-in-all, a good week!

Anyway, isn't that an adorable picture? His cheeks are so cute!! (Just for clarification, Bremen's - not Kevin's - not saying Kevin doesn't have cute cheeks - just that Bremen's outshine his in this picture.) This is when we were at the airport sending them off to Slovakia about 4 years ago - Kevin is teaching Bremen to blow the paper off of a straw. Man, has it really been that long? And yet, it sometimes seems a life-time ago that Kevin lived in the states.
