As we head into another year of adventure in Lambson Land, I want to leave you with a few favorite pictures of the past two months...
Christmas came early in Utah. We took all the Utah/Idaho gifts when we headed north in November. Anyone who knows Dave knows if he has a gift to give, he doesn't particularly need the calendar to coincide with his gift giving. If it's a birthday gift he's excited about giving, he won't want you to wait for your birthday to open it. If it's a Christmas gift, who cares if it's still November! So, Hunter got to open one of his gifts while Grammie and Papa were there to see him open it.
Hunter even shared with his brother. Actually, Hunter preferred pushing the car to riding the car. He just wasn't sure about the car moving while he was on it. In fact, if you've looked at the Utah Lambson's blog, you've seen the video of Hunter singing with his Mommy. At the end, he accidentally pus

hes the button to make the car go and jumps off the seat! For the record, Papa would have liked to have the Idaho bunch open while we were there, but we had to ship a couple to Colorado -we had to make sure Santa came through before ours were opened! While we are on the subject of Idaho, we got to go see an assembly where Logan's class performed for the whole school. My camera (the old one!) didn't take good pictures from afar, so I did a video. While not the best quality, it's better than nothing. What I loved about this video, besides the fact that Logan just does his own thing, is that if you look carefully you'll see him shake his head "no" when they sing the line "I like school." I about cracked up!
If I'm doing a favorite's post, it has to include Dave making fudge. He made three different kinds, but the milk chocolate fudge was to die for!
Caitlin and I made Christmas Rice Krispy treats and decorated them....well, them and shooting icing straight into your mouth.
By the way, Caitlin does not like her picture taken randomly. She has to be ready and she has to pose if you want her picture. So, each time I tried to take a candid shot, she'd quickly turn. This was one of my favorite pictures of the back of her head.
Papa picked out Jack's Christmas present months ago. He was excited for Jack to open it and Jack did not disappoint! He clearly loved the garbage truck that actually lifts the dumpster up and dumps the garbage in the truck. Then there's a knob you turn that pushed the garbage into the back of the truck and another lever opens the back and you can dump the garbage out. It's fun when you know they love the gift as much as you loved giving it!
And, the winner of favorites in creative gift wrapping goes to Hunter! Isn't this adorable!!

Jack showed us that truck when we were at his house!
I can't believe you and Papa took such a huge toy to Utah along with everything else for the trip!! You need to look for smaller gifts next time or order online and have it delivered to them and then wrap it when you get there. I seriously couldn't believe you hauled that big car up there! Cost of car $35.99...what grandparents do for the little ones...priceless!
Yes, Jack still sleeps with the garbage truck. EVERY night. I think that was clearly a winner.
