HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Here, in honor of Father's Day, are a few quotes about fathers. If you have one you'd like to share, please feel free!!

"Fatherhood is pretending the present you love most is soap-on-a-rope." Bill Cosby.

"When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years." --- Mark Twain

"By the time a man realizes that maybe his father was right, he usually has a son who thinks he's wrong." -- Charles Wadsworth.

"I never got along with my dad. Kids used to come up to me and say, "My dad can beat up your dad." I'd say, "Yeah? When?"-- Bill Hicks

"If the new American father feels bewildered and even defeated, let him take comfort from the fact that whatever he does in any fathering situation has a fifty percent chance of being right."-- Bill Cosby.

"A father is a man who expects his children to be as good as he meant to be." -- Carol Coats

OK, I chose humor over cheese this year! But, seriously, I do have a lot of respect for the fathers (old, young, and waiting to be) in my family and I know their wives and children are all better people for having them in their lives. Happy Father's Day Dave, Kevin, Jon, Patrick, Bill, and Stuart!!
