And The Blue Ribbon Goes To...

Have you ever taken a 5-year old boy to Michael's and been able to shop for 2 hours?? With no whining and no reprimanding needed? If you have, tell me, because right now I'm thinking this kid is unusual! Bremen went with me to Michael's while his Mama went other places. She met up with us about an hour after we parted company and we still shopped for over an hour after she got there. While Bremen and I were on our own, he got his own basket and filled it with all kinds of stuff (a lot of which went back on the shelf at departure time!). He even helped me push the cart around "crab style." He sat on the front end, hunched over and just used his feet to pull the cart - kind of like a crab carrying around his big ol' shell!

Unless you tell me you've got a better story, Bemen gets the blue ribbon for longest shopping trip without getting in trouble for anything!

Logan doesn't make it from the parking lot to the store without trouble.

You are right - that's incredible.

He totally wins the blue ribbon.

Sounds like you get some of the credit Laura for keeping him involved: letting him have his own cart, allowing him to do the crab walk, etc.
