The school year events are done with one exception. Sofia got home to California just in time to be in her end-of-the-year preschool program. She is the sweet little angel in the pretty yellow dress!!
Lucky Papa had a fishing date with Jack. Think they both skunked Stuart!!
After the big fishing trip, they headed off to Canada to visit with Heather and Karen. Love this picture of the whole family!!
We lost our dear friend, Yoshikazu “Yoshi” Yoshimine in
June. He was a genuinely nice man, a
good fisherman and a great friend. He
had been battling lung cancer for many months and he had opted out of
conventional treatment. The experiences
of each person are different and I have to say Yoshi astounded me with the way
he was able to maintain quality of life up until just the week before his
passing. He will be missed!
….just a few days before Kendal and Kenna's dance recital. Kendal did great and Kenna stole the
show. Only not because of her dancing
skills. I was laughing too much to get a
picture, but Kenna just stood there in her first position pose until it was all
over. Everyone was walking off the stage
and she stood there. As an instructor
takes her by the hand and leads her off, she flashes this HUGE grin and waves
at everyone just before she goes behind the curtain!!
This year we got the Summer Fun movie passes and were able to use them….once! We took the Hunter and Cameron to the movie
and lunch. They have fun wherever they
are and they make friends wherever they go!
June is big month for Kaytie Rae!! She turned the big “1”!! She was adorable…well, she always is!
Raelynn came to the party, too!
Hunter and I spent some time together doing a fun
puzzle! It’s a reversible puzzle – it’s
a bug on one side and fun facts about the bug on the other side! I love puzzles and I am glad that he likes
them, too!
And let’s end June with a couple of pictures of Charlotte’s
family on vacation …it is so rare to get these kind of pictures that when I do
get them, I want to put them everywhere!!
