And when I say jumpin’, I’m not kiddin’! We started out the month with Kevin, Bremen
and Sofia with us and quickly added Jon and then Jamie, Logan and Lexi!! We had some exciting times, and it started
with losing a tooth!
Several days after that event, a year-long plan came to
fruition. Logan and Lexi came to spend 2
weeks! This first was talked about last
summer and I really never thought Lexi would be able to be away from her
parents for 2 weeks. Logan – no problem. When he was 4 he came back to Arizona with us
and stayed 3 weeks! But, here she
came! Jamie flew down with them (not
quite ready for unaccompanied plane trips!).
I was over the moon to have them here, but I think they might like to
schedule future trips when the weather is a little cooler!
We played a lot –
cards, playdough, crafts, pie eating contest, Bocce ball, Risk, swimming, FlipSide, Wii,
day at the lake, Bass Pro Shop, museum….
But one of the best days was the day Kaytie Rae was
born!! We were leaving on the 22nd
of June to take Logan and Lexi back to
Idaho. Kaytie was due June 30th. The doctor wouldn’t induce Wendy before June
23rd. It was looking like we
were going to miss her birth – not at all what we wanted. Well, Kaytie didn’t want us to leave without getting to meet her Grammie and Papa either! She came on her own
June 15th – on Father’s Day!!
Such a little doll – goes well with the other dolls in her family!!

session – she was telling Papa exactly what to do…and he did it! He’s such a softie where his granddaughters
are concerned!!
This ends the Arizona portion of June. The Idaho portion will wait for another day!
