THIS AND THAT

It's been a bit since I put anything on here. So, I'll put up a few random pictures of stuff.

Knives - Dave still makes them. Just may have to move the operation out of the city. They don't want Dave and Terry to make them in Terry's garage.

Jack - eating his pretend ice cream cone.

Jack - watching Teletubbies (I know, I'm evil!).

Jack - with his trusty drill ready for action. And....he found some. Guess the keyboard needed fixing!

Bremen - one of three favorite activities, watching TV.

Bremen - one of the other favorite activities, playing computer games. See the "Lambson tongue" thing? Concentration is much more effective when the tongue is partially exposed and slightly bitten down on! Runs deep in this family!!

Bremen and Kevin - double score!! Playing computer games with Dad!! Playing with his Dad is probably the top vote getter in his top three!

Cake - a creation by Kevin that was heavenly!! It was a Strawberry Cream Cake that is delicious. Too bad I didn't take a picture of a piece of the cake. It's as pretty cut as it is whole!

Baking - Cathi and I have been getting together and cooking/baking about once a week. We've been going to cooking classes using dehydrated food and it has been fun! Not only are we learning how to use food that can be easily stored for a long time, we are learning about nutritional benefits of the air-dried food. Very informative. But here's the benefit, look at what we made last week! We even ground our own flour! Yes - it's true. We made whole wheat bread, cinnamon-raisin bread (the two smallers loaves) and Honey Carrot Snacking Cake (yup, used our own flour we ground, rehydrated carrots, rehydrated pineapple, cream cheese powder in the icing)! Oh, and LAST week - cinnamon rolls. Seriously good stuff, folks!

That's just a bit of what's going on in our world. Until next time - have some fun yourself!!

HELLO? If I had known, I would have come and helped you eat all of that food!

You know, the morning after you babysat Jack, he woke up and wouldn't stop chattering. I don't know what he was saying, but every other word was "Papa." He must have had fun!

Very fun! And, once again the knife is impressive - Lambson talent emerges yet again...

Are you guys going to the classes at the cannery? I have been wanting to go on the Mondays Erik has off work, but I wasn't sure what time they are at.

No, Amelia. These are at Foodwise - Lindsay and Williams Field. Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday's at 1:00 p.m. The more the merrier!

Who is "they" that won't let Terry and Dave make knives in Terry's garage?

Love the pictures of Jack and Bremen. Kids are the best.

Kevin is always making something yummy. That cake looks divine.

The bread looks pretty dang good too. The cooking classes sound like fun.

Yeah, I want to hear more about the knife situation.

And I'm wondering why I didn't get any of those baked good?

Wow we didn't know that you babysit and let the kids watch Teletubbies. I guess that officially ends your babysitting career of Hunter.

Too bad I don't live closer to you Laura!! I would be your "food-tasting czar"!! You have so much talent. When do you find time for GASP? I want to know about the knife thing too.
