There's been so much going on in the last week that I don't know where to start! How about this:
Wendy and Shane are engaged!! Like the ring? OK, it's not the REAL ring - that's being sized. But take it from me, it's gorgeous. Guess I was one of the lucky ones that got to see the ring before it was taken in for sizing!
Then there was this:
Poor Bill fell off a ladder at work and really messed himself up! He dislocated his shoulder, bruised ribs, and broke his wrist, badly. Just yesterday he had surgery and has over a half-dozen screws in his wrist. If you wonder why he's smiling - my guess is pain killers!
And let's not forget our break during the crazy week when we got to go stay with this crazy guy:
They named him appropriately - Jack in the box - one of his favorite things to do!!
And then I had THIS taking up my brain space all week and most of my Friday and Saturday:
The Pinewood Derby was a lot of fun - and I don't think I was the only one that had fun. I think the boys did, too!
After that was over, we got to go to this guy's party:
Ryan got a DS for his birthday from Mom and Dad. As you can see, the other guys were having fun playing Little Big Planet on the huge TV
screen. Ryan, meanwhile, has his nose in the DS - most of the pictures I took after he opened that have him with his head down playing the DS. Must have been the favorite gift, don't ya think?

And, to cap it off, Sunday evening I had a leadership meeting for which I had to have two presentations ready! Whew - stick a fork in me, I'm done!!
But hang on....there's more!! Oh...well...I'll let THEM be the ones to do the introductions. Guess you'll just have to wait!! Or go here and see for yourself!!
It's been a CRAZY week - but a WONDERFUL week. (OK, the part about Bill isn't so great - but at least he's able to smile about it!) I have been so happy, so blessed, so full of joy and gratitude that this week rates as one of the best in my life!! (But not in Bill's - hey, we have pain that we might know joy, right?) Hope your week was better than Bill's and as great as mine!

That is some crazy week. Now you need to take some time off. Perhaps a trip to see that new baby?

Poor Bill. His fall off of a ladder was much worse than mine. I hope he feels better soon.
Ahh, pinewood derby, I don't miss those days AT ALL. I'm glad you had fun though.
Happy Birthday to Ryan. Tell Charlotte to post a picture of his cake. She was talking about it at the Easter picnic and I wanted to see how it turned out.
Overall, a lot more good than bad. Not a bad life for the Lambson clan.
Oh, and for the record, you are the busiest retired people I know!

I'm feeling really bad for Bill. Poor guy. I hope he heals quickly!
You did have a busy week! With more happy than sad :) and that's always good.
