LOGAN + LEXI = FUN!!

It's always "play time" when we're in Idaho. One of the activities we always engage in (besides Playdough!) is painting rocks. We started doing that years ago and Logan was ever so prepared this time. He already had a collection of rocks ready to be painted!

Whenever it came time to cook anything, Logan was always ready to help. He did a fine job of helping make deviled eggs.

Lexi loves having books read to her. She will go get all of her books and sit there while you read all of them! Several of her books are the kind that are "singing" books. There are the lyrics with a picture that indicates which button to push for the music. Well, Momma does well, Daddy does OK, Grammie does OK, but Papa?? He would rather read an entire set encylopedia books to her before he'll sing to her!!

And, of course, Lexi got in on the Playdough action! Logan had been playing for quite a long time before Lexi started, so he had a bunch of "food" already made. The video shows that she knows she has some catching up to do! She was a little late for the party (she had to have her beauty rest nap!), but she still got to have fun.

And what better fun can a girl have than getting all glammed up? Well, maybe it's more fun when DAD get's all glammed up!!

Yup, they just make it too much fun to stay away for very long!!

Jack made me play the video over and over again this morning. He would growl when it ended if I didn't restart it right away.

They love it when you're here - Mom and Dad are just too boring.

I love that you guys painted rocks. That was one of my favorite activities to do with Joe and the other boys at Grandpa's old cabin. We would go for a walk, collect the rocks and then sit out on the porch and paint for a while. I really miss that.

The playdough looks like fun. It's nice that Logan will actually make things and not just squish all of the colors together to make "grey".

Jon is rockin' those glassed.

Yeah, I meant to say "glasses", not "glassed". I type too fast.

Oh, Kim, he does! He just usually takes care in the initial molding of items from a new container. When he's done - let the squishing begin!
