It's nice for the kids to get to know their Great-Grandpa. He lives in New Mexico and they don't get to see him that often. A relationship with a great-grandparent is something not every child gets to experience. Many years later they'll be glad they took the opportunity to visit him and have their picture taken with him - even if some of them are too young to remember!

Grandpa
A while back, Dave's Dad was visiting. (Well, actually he stayed with us for almost 2 weeks before he had bypass surgery and then he stayed with Terry and Cathi while he recuperated from bypass surgery. So, yes, he was "visiting" - it just wasn't the reason for his stay!) Anyway, I digress. We had the opportunity to get some pictures of the kids with their Grandpa/Great-Grandpa. I hadn't shared those with you yet, so here they are!

Yeah, I agree! I am so glad he and Mel had a chance to meet (especially since we left!)
I'm glad Jack got to meet his great grandpa (even if he was terrified of him!)
You should have made Dave get in the picture too, then you would have had 4 generations all in one picture.
I wish my mom had gotten some pictures!
