Where did all my time go last month???? Well, here is a pictorial of how I spent part of my month.
While hosting a Southern Living party for Charlotte, Kailee helped babysit the newest resident on our street - Indy. No, he's not our pug - Terry and Cathi decided 3 animals weren't enough, so on Independence Day they acquired Indy.
Then, a couple of days after Logan and Bremen got here, we spent the day at Amazing Jakes. The boys had a blast - riding the rides, playing games, eating and watching a movie and eating ice cream. Does life get any better??
Then we indulged our creative side and painted rocks! Yes, we are even staring Lexi out in the arts at an early age!! But mostly she just likes playing with brightly colored toys!
And then, another fun time was had at Teresa's baby shower!! The Cat in the Hat has risen from obscurity and found a place in the baby's nursery and the theme of the shower. Kim, a very lovely, sweet and giving cousin, made the cake. Isn't it great?!
Teresa got a lot of nice gifts and she looked like a beautiful mom-to-be!!
Of course, let's not forget the day Logan was left to his own devices for a couple of minutes and in that time managed to strip the bedding off the mattress, move the mattress to make a slide and a trampoline (jumping off the desk chair onto the mattress was ever so much fun!) and rearranged the pictures on the wall (you can't see that lovely gesture in this shot). Boy, was he busy!!
But, even with that ornery streak, he's still a loving big brother!!
I've also managed to squeeze in movie time - Hairspray with Marcy and Jamie, then No Reservations with Kailee - so I really rounded out my playing time with just about everyone this month!! So, Wow - It's August Already - may I have as much fun as I did in July!!!

I felt like July flew by! It looks like you've been having lots of fun with all your grandkids! (Logan is a complete angel compared to another kid I know)
Kailee looks so much like Wendy in that picture. I thought you had posted a picture of Wendy when she was younger. What a cutie!
