GA's Anonymous

Hello, my name is Laura and I'm a Grey's Anatomy-Aholic! I have watched this show from the very beginning and have missed very few episodes. It is the one show I TRY to schedule things around - doesn't always work, but I try. Does that mean there's hope for me? Does that mean I may not be a total GA-Aholic? See, there I go with the denial. No, I am a GA-Aholic and it has never been more clear than in the past several weeks. I thought I was OK until the next season started, but then Marcy needed to get caught up while in the states. So, she started renting Season 3 to watch all the episodes. And as she watched, I watched. I think I became as invested in the plot as she was, if not more, and I had already seen this season!! As we finished the first disc, she went and rented the next. It soon became ME that was hurrying back to get the next disc so we could get our fix of Meredith, Derrick, Christina, Izzie, George and Alex. So, without placing blame on Marcy for bringing the temptation into the house, after all I willingly went and brought it into the house as well, I acknowledge that I am a GA-Aholic. But that's as far as it goes - I have NO intention of quitting any time soon!!

Although I like the show, I wouldn't say I am addicted. And, really, what is there to catch up on? It's not a complex story line. 2 minutes into the show and you can determine what's going on (meaning are they together or not?)

I totally get what it means to be addicted to a t.v. show. While I am not addicted to Grey's, I do have a couple of other shows that I am addicted to. I also have no intention of quitting any time soon. We all need our guilty pleasures in life.

I also love this show and have the DVD's so you don't need to rent them - just borrow them from me!

Word on the street is that Izzy's going to die next season. If that happens I might have to quit watching.
