To kick off the beginning of the two biggest family
celebration months (November and all it’s Thanksgiving glory and December with
family gatherings), we spent the first Saturday in November (a few workers came
earlier, but their work counts!) working on the Mom’s yard! We had lots of help from grandkids, too! I’ll probably miss someone, but here goes
with the list of helpers: Terry, Cathi,
Jim, Karen, Dave, me, Chris, Brian, Erin, Nathan, Patrick, Heather, Kim, Adam,
Joe, Alex, Colin, Hunter and Cameron.
We also got more game time in with Hunter. I love - seriously love! – watching kids and
grandkids in their sporting activities!
Hunter was a good hitter and it was so cute watching him talk to his
teammates. Daddy and Cameron also got to
do some coaching!
We watched the girls one day and while I was busy with the
baby, Papa was so patient with Kenna and even helped her put a pony in her
hair! He is such a softie with his
granddaughters…and I love it!!
Spent some time with the two little boys, too! They are so fun to play with!
Then, we went from this…
...to this!!
Yes, we headed to Idaho!
It was a special trip because Logan turned 12 on the 15th and
he was going to be ordained and receive the Priesthood. It was special to have his Dad and both his
grandfathers ordain him. You’d think I
would have taken a picture of them, wouldn’t you? I didn’t.
Still kicking myself!
But, hey, here’s a picture of him with his awesome Dr.Who
cake!!
We got up north just in time to go to Logan’s 6th
grade performance. It was fun…but the
little punk positioned himself where I couldn’t get a good picture! These are as good as it gets!
As is the norm lately, Lexi and I played games! And this is only a few of the games we
played…
Meanwhile, Logan and his Dad, Papa, and Papo went out to do
some shooting. Logan is a good shot,
according to Papa.
And we had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner of which I got
zero pictures. I was too busy having fun
to remember to take pictures!!
We headed back down to Arizona on December 1st - just in time to get into the swing of
everything Christmas! But that’s a story
for another day….
