So you are not left wondering - NO - we have not completed our work on the house. Lucky for us we don't have anyone at home that cares if we just up and lock the door on the mess for several weeks! Here's some highlights of the completed project. (My loving husband took these pictures while I was away and doesn't understand that you should stage pictures a little better. I would have put the dishes away before taking the pictures and avoided the water bottles that are filled for Cathi to water plants with, but oh well.)
The pull-out shelf I love! Dave made that for me himself - welded the entire shelf unit and put it in what used to be the broom closet!
One of the undone things is furniture arrangement - that will happen when we get back and get new carpet in (not over the new floor - in the living room!). Until then, the TV stand gets to sit on the blanket so it doesn't scratch the floor!
See ya'll later!!

Looks great I love that pull out cabinet.
It looks so good! I can't wait to see the finished product.
Have fun in UT & ID!
Gosh I don't feel special anymore. I thought you wanted to visit me and I didn't realize I was just a pit stop.
Of course I want to see you! However, how many times have YOU called and said "Grammie, when are you coming? Could you come tomorrow?" Logan does a lot! (Lexie calls for Papa.) Logan also asks us to take him back to Arizona - we'd love it if you would ask us to take YOU back to Arizona!!
He only asks to go to Arizona when he is grounded from video games or is in trouble.
Awesome! It looks great, even with the water bottles. I want a pull out cabinet! I stopped by the other day, so now I feel better knowing you were gone, and not just hiding from me. We look forward to seeing you when you get back! Have fun in the cold....
Everything is looking great so far. I hope you have fun on your trip.
I think Dave should go into business making those pull out cabinets. I think EVERYONE would want one.
It really should be a requirement that where ever you visit you should put in hard wood floors and tile counter tops before you leave...
