Unconventional as it was, he opened his presents whenever whomever gave them to him said he could. That was kind of nice, actually. He didn't have to be front and center for a long period of time (translate - the adults didn't have to sit and watch him open a ton of presents all at once!).
There were snow cones and a big bouncer (the inflatable kind - not the big burly guy kind), pinata, pizza, chips, dip, cake, and cupcakes.
Oh, and if you were in the "crab club," you got crab legs.
Ryan had a blast - lots of running around, being loud, fun things to eat, presents to open and video games to play - a 5-year old's dream day!!

I think you have to be crabby to be in the crab club. That's why Brian and Joe were allowed.
The party was super fun. The snow cone machine was a big hit with the kids.
Have fun on your trip. I'm sure you'll have lots to blog about when you get back.
Cute pics of Ryan!
Funny Kim. Laura, there was one picture you forgot to post...
My boys had so much fun. Although Max was a little intimidated by some of Ryan's wrestling moves.
What picture did she forget to post Brian?
Charlotte, you'll just have to wait...
Ok, I'm dying to know what pic is missing.
Looks like lots of fun! I love the pictures of Jack too! It is so characteristic of him to cock his head to the side and I find it adorable. What is the missing picture??
What?!? Not one single picture of me!?!
