Like I Said...

...lately I've been focused on putting all my pictures in albums. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and very soon I'll be able to pull an album down and reminisce. That probably dates me - I'd rather have actual pictures to sit and look at rather than view them on the computer or put them on a dvd to put on the television. I feel more connected to the photos - and particularly to the people in the photos. The memories the photos bring forward are precious and I love the feeling I get when I thumb through the albums. Families are the greatest thing ever - we may get annoyed with our family members from time to time - but if we treat them as we would like to be treated, we usually get over our annoyances pretty quick. Who but family is so forgiving of our irritating faults? But I digress..

This next weekend is Easter. Our annual Grandmother Easter Dinner will be held and we'll create new memories. Since I know several very good photo buffs will be there, I'm sure with cameras in tow, I'm putting up a collage of Easter at Grandmother's from past years. Look at other family blogs next week - I'm sure they'll have fresh, new ones for all to enjoy!

We will be there! It's such a great tradition and judging by two of those pictures a long tradition.

I love the picture of Charlotte & Wendy. I used to love that shirt Charlotte was wearing.

Laura, come on, can't you find one cute picture of me? I know it's probably impossible, but please, that picture is terrible!!

I remember that shirt of Charlotte's too. I loved it.

You've inspired me Laura, I think I'll post my pictures from last year at Grandmas. I'd go further back, but I don't have a scanner, only the ones from last year are on my computer.

Wow. Love Char and Wendy's hair. That really dates the picture.

For those of you who like to play the movie trivia game, I am spreading the word. Joe has posted 10 movie quotes on his blog. He came up with them all on his own. Some are from very recent movies, some are older, and some are kids movies.

If you are interested in playing, go to my blog and click on "Joe" in the friends and family section.

Laura,
I love "real" scrapbooks too.. blogging is a fun way to keep a journal of stuff I will (and won't) scrapbook, but nothing beats the real live book you can sit on the couch and turn pages to look through!
