May also brings Mother's Day! I am blessed to have this family I am a part of and I love them all. On Mother's Day, I count myself lucky to have a reason to celebrate on this day - actually 6 reasons! The flowers from the girls, the artwork from grandkids and the cards/calls from kids and dear hubby are appreciated and loved!! (You didn't get to see the chocolate covered strawberries Charlotte made - I ate them!) Great bunch of people I get to "mother!"
Meet Cameron, King of the Bubbles!! It was my job to pull him in the wagon while he blew bubbles for his kingdom!
I was watching Kenna one day (Kendal was not home yet) and we were coloring in the playroom. Papa came out to visit us and Kenna was overjoyed - she LOVES her Papa! Well, Papa went into the family room and didn't come back right away. Kenna jabbered to me something I couldn't understand - the only word I heard clearly was "Papa." I told her to go check on Papa - she ran in there and came back and jabbered to me again. Twice we did this. The third time I said, "Do you want Papa to come color with you?" Immediately she grinned and ran back to Papa. I hollered at him what she wanted and here she came back with Papa!
I think they like each other a lot!!
End of school activities abound in May, and we were able to enjoy Bremen's band concert! He plays the flute and is very good! His fan club came to watch, too!
One of the events that took place in May had me a little sad. Bremen was receiving his Arrow of Light, a high honor in Cub Scouts, on the very night Kailee graduated from high school. We so wanted to be there for Bremen - it was such a great achievement! Don't know if the candy-gram we gave him made up for us not being there, but I sure wanted him to know how proud we were of him!
May is good fishing weather...if you go early! Apparently the weather was just fine for catching some fish for these little guys!!
Little Miss Sofia came at the end of the month!! She is such a good traveler and she seems to like it here with us - never wants to leave when it's time to go home!
And after she got here, we had a belated birthday celebration with Bremen!! He sure didn't turn down the opportunity to have another cake!
Oh, and we got a new car in May!! All in all, a very wonderful and marvelous May!!
