Beautiful Boys

The joy that Hunter and Cameron have for life is amazing.  They are the happiest little boys!!  Hunter and Cameron are loving little guys, too.  Cameron was having a good time lovin' on Papa - I just could never get a picture where Papa didn't blink!

Hunter had to have his Papa time, too!

Playing at the park is a favorite on their list of things to do.  Cameron goes wild when you get near the park  Any kid playing at the park is Hunter's friend.  He's getting to be such a big boy!

They both love being outside and are lucky to have a Mom who loves to play outside, too!  Their backyard is a great place to play ball!

Of course, there are indoor activities that are just as fun - and playdough is one of them!  Woo-hoo - I love playing with playdough!

One of the boys is already taking initiative and helping around the house.  Here Cameron is supervising Papa as he assesses the sink situation.

But, being the good supervisor that he is, he got Papa the best help he could find to work on the project.

We love spending time with these beautiful boys and can't wait til we see them again!

My Heart Melts

Is there anything more sweet than seeing your husband in tender moments with grandchildren?  I say there is not.  Here is one of those moments that makes me melt every time I look at the pictures...reading to Hunter.

DIY is ALOHW!!!

I don't know whether I watch too much HGTV or lurk among the pages of Pinterest too much, but something caused me to think I could restain my kichen table set all by myself!  I have been wanting to change the color ever since we remodeled the kitchen.  The old "blonde" wood color just looked washed out against the walls.  Every time I'd think I had enough calendar space to work the project in, something would happen.  Well, knowing we'd be gone to Utah/Idaho the end of March, I figured two weeks before that would be perfect - I could get it done in 3 days and let it "cure" a few days and we'd get to enjoy the table before we left.  Wrong.

The table and chairs were out on the carport, my temporary workshop, for over a week.  Terry asked me if I was making a career out of the project!  I finally got it done and in the house just before we left.  So much for getting to enjoy my hard labor before leaving!  Here's the end result:

It's done, I'm glad, but DIY is A Lot Of Hard Work!!!
