Where Did March Go??

I know we got back from our Utah trip 10 days into the month, but still! The month was packed with activity and seemed to pass rather quickly. The first thing we did when we got back was jump right into the Stake Pinewood Derby. The boys had a lot of fun and the cars were very interesting! And, if it's March, it's spring break! Caitlin and Ryan spent a few days with us. One day was pretty boring for them - I had things to do and I couldn't really entertain them. One day, though, we managed to get some park time in! There was also a lot of "home work" done by Dave and I - no picture of the before. It was a mess - our garbage disposal had been leaking for quite some time and we discovered it only days before leaving on our trip. We cut a big hole in the bottom floor of the cabinets and let it dry out while we were gone. We spent a good 5 days working on a new base floor in the cabinets (about 6 foot of it!) and then lining it with a waterproof sheet. If it leaks again, it won't go underneath and rot everything!! We made it to Kailee and Caitlin's cheer competition in Phoenix. I did not get many good pictures - you know how hard it is to watch a 90-second performance and try to take pictures? Almost impossible. Kendal was having a good time wandering around all the cheerleaders! It was a beautiful day in downtown Phoenix that day. The sky was gorgeous and the spring planting was looking good! The end of the month saw us up at Jack's house. Not too many pictures were taken - can't have fun and take pictures at the same time. Plus, when you forget to take your camera it's impossible to get a picture. I could have kicked myself - Jack was having a grand time at Cabela's and I didn't take the camera. He loved the fish and he got some marksmanship tips at the shooting gallery from Papa. At home, we played with Playdough and decorated Easter cookies. Well, Jack decorated some and mostly ate icing. And, Jack has some favorite shows that he likes - he's a Tom and Jerry fan like Lexi! But the best line of the 3 days was on Friday when his Mom and Dad drove up. He looked out of the window and exclaimed, "I got them back. I got them back!" Not sure if he thought he had lost them for good or not! And...there's where March went! P.S. I'm about ready to quit blogging - Blogger lost all my formatting and I'm done trying to fix it!
